Ancient Mesopotamia [Part 1 - Sumerians, Akkadians, Babylonians, Hittites] - World History Lecture

In this Lecture, I discuss the Early Background of Ancient Mesopotamia on the Sumerian and other cultures of the same region of Iraq. Major topics include the Sumerians, Akkadians (Akkadian Empire), Babylonian Empire of King Hammurabi, importance of Cuneiform, Ziggurat construction, Hammurabi Code, the Hittites (Hittite Empire) which dominate Syria and Turkey, and the invasion of the Sea Peoples.
