Ohmy gosh! Im going to take the bottom apart and check if the aerator screen is broken! Its been driving me nuts that its not aerating because we have strong water pressure but a shallow sink so water splashes up everywhere on the crappy laminate counter and poorly caulked backsplash. I have done many rounds of vinegar and iron out and the head is “clean” so couldn’t figure out the problem. Thank you!

Did you not use the clip once and get the connection stuck up there like I did? I watched your video after getting the connection stuck. Any idea how to fix I?

Just read on Moen Q/A Glenshire that the aerator is built into the wand head. Soaking in vinegar overnight to see if this frees up the gunk from a failed water softener. The parts illustration show it as 1 piece instead of an itemized parts list.

We have this faucet and hard water. They become so calcified that regardless of what tool I use it will not unscrew and the cheap plastic piece with the notches cut into it gets chewed up making removal impossible. We end up buying a new head for $45.

I just replaced my faucets with aerators like this with faucets that have aerators I can easily remove, clean and reinstall in less than two minutes.

When you soak it in vinegar, do you submerge the whole thing are just the tip of it?

Can you replace the plastic piece where the ruler goes? Mine was so tight that the plastic got all scratched and deformed

You can remove the aerator all together and get much better water flow. I do this every time I buy a new fixture.

my moen faucet aerator doesn't have the 2 notches that you can stick the ruler in and twist it out
