This may be the oddest way to discover a band, but back in the early 2000's, I played a game called Quake 3 Arena, and there were many a custom made map for this very popular game. One map in particular was called 69 Pick Up, and at one area of the map, there was the first portion of this song looping, and it caught my ear. I had to find out what band this was, and no one I played with knew what the name of the band was. So I had to dig into one of the files to locate the audio file. Luckily, the file name of the song was Smiling Faces, and after a bit of searching, I found this band. So glad I came across it. Love their music!
