The problem is there's so much content on this channel it's impossible to pick out the favourite or the best but i have to give a special mention for this one because the flow and creativity is unbelievable. Out of my listening frequents nothing makes me brainstorm or research better for the business tasks. thank you to Noraus and also to TPM for existing.

The album title caused me to look up "Type 1 civilizations" on Wikipedia. Apparently there are three different "types" of civilizations according to some type of astrophysics categorization scheme, with Type 1 civilizations defined as those that are able to utilize solar energy that reaches their planet, and Type 3 being those that can utilize solar energy from throughout their host galaxy.

Under the section "observational evidence" on that page, there is speculation that Type 3 civilizations are very rare in the "local Universe" (whatever that means) but the fact that they are thought to be present at all is pretty interesting.
