This is not surface modeling, this is SubD Modeling. Such modeling is much more convenient and faster to do in programs designed for polygonal modeling (3ds Max, Maya, Blender ....) Check your car models for the smoothness of surfaces with a zebra pattern from lines, this will reveal all the problem areas of the model.

whycan you split faces as you want? When i try to split just one face wich is connectet to others the faces around get crazy. Please answe me i need it for my college

I wonder if the final model will work? Can they be thickened or sewn into solids? And is the continuity level G1 or G2?

Interesting test, and NX is highly capable, but it’s not the right tool for doing automotive concept development or surface release.. no serious automotive designers or businesses use nx for that. It’s like trying to use a Swiss Army knife for complex surgery when you need specific surgical scalpels.
