The most beautiful thing that I remember, were the fountains with fireworks.
This was a huge display with the fountains timed to music.
I went 16 times by cutting school as a 14/15 year old. I'm 70 now, and can't believe how much time has gone by...

Thank you very much for sharing!!! I'm from the far west and wasn't there but have visited Corona park MANY times to see the fairgrounds as the two fair have always fascinated me.. Your footage is GREAT! Using my personal experiences of Corona park I can now place myself at these locations thanks to you sharing your family's 8mm memories. Thank you!

We visited the Fair on July 20, 1965. You can only see so much in one day, and we managed to take in the Swiss Sky Ride, Dinoland and the US Royal Tire Ferris Wheel. We also saw the replica of the Santa Maria and the porpoise show at the Florida Pavilion. Not to mention the musicians and dancers at the Mexican Pavilion. Being Lithuanian, we also paused at the Lithuanian Wayside Cross.

I like how your family was standing on Staten Island on the floor map of NY state. I’m guessing that’s where you’re from. So am I. Nice family memories. Thanks for sharing
