In this video I am showing the viewers the recipes of sofrito often mentioned on food network. I realized there are several ways and recipes to making sofrito. However, as most of Puerto Ricans and other Spanish recipes are cooked with this mixture I decided to share my authentic recipe to making a true Spanish sofrito.

Nada como nuestro sofrito Boricua, me encanta verlos trabajando juntos.

Nothing like our Boricua sofrito and love seeing you both working together.

I see you didn't remove the seeds from the ajicitos dulce aka sweet chili peppers doesn't that make it taste a little bitter with the pith and seeds?

Hello once again from New York can you tell me where you obtain the Aji Dulce seeds you grow in your garden? I want to begin my own plants to harvest them for my sofrito recipe. Most stores here in the city sell the green version of aji dulce with very few yellow, orange or red ones in the bundles they sell. Please help with the information or website where to obtain the seeds you use. Thank you kindly...J. Rosado.

Thank you for your response can you tell me where you've obtained these ajicitos? They are of beautiful looking color and quality. I live in New York City but if there is a way to obtain some of the ajicitos you had in that big beautiful green tub I'd like to have the information of how to buy some. Can you also tell me where you've obtained those plastic green and orange tubs? They are of great color and would add a nice splash of character to my kitchen. Thank you best regards...Jorge from NYC. By the way from what I gather some of the distributers of ajicitos here in the city said that there was a problem with lack of rainfall in the Caribbean and it affected the Ajicito harvest and was very difficult to obtain them during the holidays this past Christmas. I was wondering where is your location? I'm still so impressed with the color of those ajicitos that they are forever branded into my memory banks. Thanks.

I love your method, but You should get plastic or wooden cutting board. That one you have is the reason your knife was dull in the video.
