I had to tell my son that i would not shop at Target to get him a wet suit for diving. I then expalined to him what Target was doing and why i wouldn't shop there. He is 11 years old. In a way his innocence is destroyed simply by me having to explain these adult subject matter to him, and to teach him what to look out for at school.

This executive is frozen in time to the age his childhood trauma began. Now he's made it plain for the world to see. That's why he seems like a seven year old trapped in a grown-up body. He wants all the seven-year old's of the world to be traumatized too so he won't feel so lonely. Misery loves company. The abused becomes abuser in this case (even if only metaphorically). He believes he's doing nothing wrong because he literally is frozen in time.
