Der Text ist eigentlich ziemlich aus der Zeit gefallen, aber die Vertonung durch Hugo Wolff „malt“ das Bild wunderschön . Mein Lieblingslied vom Wolff ist „Anakreons Grab“, die Vertonung eines Gedichtes von Goethe. Sicher kennt der junge Man das auch und interpretiert es ebenso klug.❤
