I unbox & drive a new Traxxas UDR RC desert truck! Enjoy watching the suspension do work in slow motion. Besides installing an XT90 plug adapter, hooking up my Spektrum DX5 Rugged transmitter, and changing a few decals, I kept the vehicle stock for the first run.

One big thing to toss out is that spacer with the 2 screws where you plug in the battery. You will have more space for your battery cables and an easier time getting your cover back on. I have had my UDR for a good over 3 years now? I still love it. Great Trophy Truck!

I understand weight transfer but the rear looks to be way too soft. It’s most of the way down in the stroke of the shock just driving it. Then when it his a big bump it bottoms out then kicks the ass end up. Maybe some thicker oil in the shocks might help.

Own a Red Cat gen 7 pro, Traxxas big foot with brushless set up, Red cat Everest 1/10 rock crawler, Arrma Senton brushless S2 set up and now a UDT 4s bought from my young neighbor(41) who has generously helped me with knowledge and parts 4/14/2023. Now Age 80 and for the life of me do not understand people my age setting are their ever growing butts when they can enjoy the company of young people smart and fun to be around in this sport.
