Fascinating subject for the wrong reasons, is the emergence of generative design limiting us now through the constraints of the software used? Are we moving towards a purely functional design rather than aesthetics? Where does the design interpretation of the world we want to live in from the point of view of aesthetics fit? Is generative design or more correctly named, optimisation design the end of design? Or even the end of exploration? Is commoditization of design the panacea?

This is indeed impressive, articulating both the importance of data, constraints and AI. I very interested in what is entailed in producing a robust design corpus. Will Autodesk host research group presentations and workshops?

We we're never limited by "traditional manufacturing methods". We are limited by over complicated Cad/Cam software. I'm convinced that no one that decides how Cam systems are going to work has much experience making things.

Great I have used so called designs for my projects and have had poor results . I have a book of ideas that I need help with this evolution could cut out the time and money waister
