The Backside Crooked Grind, aka BS K-Grind, is pretty similar to the Backside Noseslide. When you do a Backside Crooked you just have to jam the curb between your front truck and nose. The BS Crooked Grind is great on curbs, ledges and rails. For the beginning, you should try it out on a curb. The Crooked Grind works great with flip-in and flip-out combinations once you have it on lock.

In our Backside Crooked Grind video tutorial with different camera perspectives and slow motion, we’ll show you everything you have to keep in mind when practising the K-Grind. In the video, we’ll explain the proper foot placement, the pop, how to lock into the grind, and much more. The Crooked Grind was coined by Eric Koston. Some people call it Crooked Grind and some call it K-Grind… Different names for the same thing.
