In this video we give a demo and tour of the Elevating Pop top roof on our VW California Beach. The factory fitted roof on the VW California is a fantastic piece of kit and has some great features. Demonstration of how to raise and lower, the features and internal accommodation.

Thank you for the video. Very informative. I noted that you advised the roof is very waterproof in your experience. However many others have commented that it is not and others have even gone to the point of recommending a “Vanorack”. I’d welcome your further comments and experiences if you will be so kind. Perhaps a topic for another video? :)

How much weight does that mattress support?

Hi JT, when you put your roof down did you put the webbing/seat belt material on the catch between the fabric and the catch as I was told that you must do this in order to stop the fabric being pinched by the catch.
