Have you ever tipped mouthwash into your toilet? - Here I show you what exactly happens then + more cleaning tricks for the toilet!

If the toilet is dirty again, do not annoy yourself with various toilet cleaners that do not work in the end as they should. In this video I show you once two home remedies with which you can clean your toilet in a very simple way! All you need is mouthwash and washing powder. And how exactly the whole thing works, I show you step by step in the video.

For cleaning the toilet with the mouthwash, you simply dump some of it into your toilet, so that everywhere some of the mouthwash is distributed. Then you leave it on for about 30 minutes. When the time is up, scrub everything well and then rinse only once more. Your toilet should be clean again and smell good. The mouthwash kills bacteria and germs, keeping your toilet clean and fresh.
If you use mouthwash anyway, you could just spit it into your toilet after use instead of down the drain. That way, you're not dumping new mouthwash down the toilet and you're using it twice right away!

Washing powder has a similar effect. For this you should take washing powder for white laundry. This contains surfactants and is therefore perfect for cleaning. In addition, the washing powder also contains descaling agents, which makes it easy to remove lime deposits and urine scale. For cleaning the toilet with washing powder, you should dump about a cup of it into your toilet and distribute it well. Now let it soak in for about 15-30 minutes before scrubbing it thoroughly with a toilet brush. Then rinse and your toilet should shine like new again.

I don’t know what country you live in but “Listerine Mouthwash” is extremely expensive in the United States! 💰 💰💰 Any inexpensive brand of “Bleach” will kill all of the germs and bacteria. Also, if you’re looking for a pleasing scent, I prefer the “Clorox Bleach” in comes in several lovely scents. Such as “Tahitian Grapefruit”, “Pacific Breeze & Coconut” and “Tuscan Lavender & Jasmine”. I just listed my favorite there’s at least a dozen more.

You can't tell how effective it is such as a before & after as hou wouldn't be able to see the difference if a toilet is spotless to begin with.

Thanks for the interesting info...am researching which one of two over the toilet tank faucet-sink lids I might purchase. I live in a very drought prone stricken area. One of the models or brands is cheaper and I like the style much better. Once the toilet handle does the flushing, the tank refills but the water is rerouted to the faucet and drains into the toilet tank. So one can wash their hands and might also want to brush their teeth? Nice to know that when using Mouthwash, it will help once rinsed into the toilet lid sink..that the mouthwash will be helpful as a cleaning disinfectant and add a bit of nice smell.
