They always referred to Bruno as an "old man" during this run. He was only 50! -- 14 years younger than Sting will be next month (March 2023)

I liked it when Bruno came out of retirement in the middle 80's. You got to see him go up against a whole new generation of wrestlers including Randy Savage, Hercules, Brutus Beefcake and Honky Tonk Man.

Sammartino called out the WWF in the 80's for all the steroids and vulgarity (plot lines). I watched all the 80's (The Golden Age of Wrestling). I remember the steroids of course but I don't recall much vulgarity on tv.
