Huge apple fan. Why would they not have a calc button on their keyboard like pc... used to swear id never like PC but was sent one for work. Simple things like this are so much more strait forward on PC. Still always buying apple products lol

Last Apple for me. Brand new M2 Macbook (my second, first one died of sudden death as soon as the warranty expired), and it seems slow and I'll never be able to find the calculator.

Thanks for the concise video. A little different on Sonoma 14.2.1, but this still was enough info to get it done. Funny enough I was also adding a calculator shortcut.

I applaud the effort... but, to my ear you speak with an accent that emphasizes syllables in an unfamiliar way. Combine that with a rapid delivery, and I found it impossible to follow without slowing the speed to 75% and using the subtitles and rewind until I could understand the content. I might also ad that, for unfamiliar users like myself (your target audience, perhaps?) it would be helpful for you to move the cursor more slowly, and enlarge it if you can, calling attention to the pathway to get from one screen to the next. Otherwise, it can be quite confusing as to the goal of being to replicate the action that you are intending to demonstrate. In spite of that, I found this video a useful prompt to learn something new. Thank you!

This seems to work, but there are many, many steps, so it's not quick. I guess that isn't the fault of the producer of this video. It's probably Apple's fault. But midway through the process, I just decided to reach for my smartphone to tap the calculator app, which is readily available. It used to be easy on Mac.

I am using MacBook Pro 2023 (M2) and have created an automated code for 'Calculator_Kays' as shown on the video; however, I can't find 'General' at the bottom under my Services tab🤷‍♀. I only got up to the 'Text" option though..
Have they moved this option somewhere else under the Mac keyboard setting?
