They're not the effective against frontal attacks on T80 or T90 tanks but effective against everything else. A few well placed shots will stop a T72.

I can only imagine how fearful this war is to soldiers who at any moment might be seen and targeted by drones and hit by arty with precision.

No safe place. No place to find security as modern weapons can easily take out dugouts and bunkers with ease.

I think this war will breed a new species of PTSD sufferers. Not that ww1 wasn't its own nightmare.
