In my case I tried it on the Mi Unlock tool (2.3.803.10) It does not detect my device(OEM unlocked added accound for unlocking) While I can see the device connected in fastboot mode in cmd prompt. I got the unlock permission 3 days back, I'll wait for a week more, But What's wrong with not detecting my device?

I had the same issue for my redmi note3, tried even flashing it with global dev ROM but no use for 5 days after getting the unlock status from mi group I unlocked it (even though I got an 86012 error, just try hooking up the phone in fast boot mode and unlock it using mi unlock tool).

I was trying to unlock my Redmi note 4 bootloader everyday as of 1day 2 day 3 day 4 day and 5day but my bootloader won't get unlock it stuck at 50% what should I do

I am getting an error where it says current account is not bound to the device.Where as i am using the same account on both the device and for signing in into the mi flash tool.I searched for solutions on the miui forum.nobody could give a proper solution.I am using MiUI9 Global Beta rom if that makes any difference..

Guys dont be fools and dont follow any threds like mad just have patience fist thing is comfired that when u are on unlock tool and connected that means ur fastboot drivers are all right and working step 2 is just check whether ur mobile shows online on i.mi.com 3rd step is patience just be loged in ur act for more than 7 days and just try to unlock everyday it may show error of ur act not bound have patience guys its takes more than 1 week to bound ur act on mi server once done it will be unlocked i took 9 days to unlock my redmi note 4 which was on miui9 stable rom and last guys there is no other way to unlock ur act it must be done by mi servers

I got the permission for Unlock on the first day itself. I did OEM unlocking and sign in with same account in the device also. But then it processed upto 99% and showed "Current account is not bound to this device. Add your account and device in MIUI's Setting > Developer option > Mi Unlock status, Then Unlock again". But after 'adding account and device' in Mi Unlock status, still the same above error is showing. I have tried twice. What is the solution in this case? Please reply its urgent.

i stuck too, but i realize its not cause time or whatever, its because my fastboot timed out, and its make ur phone restart itself even im not plug my cable... So u need to HOLD VOLUME DOWN until your xiaomi tools finished itself... Mine works with that step Thanks

i dnt have OEM unlocking option in Developer mode and no device unlock status option ... what to do???

Dhananjay bhau thanks my redmi note 3 unlocked immediately after following this. the last time i tried to unlock was on 29th march but failed. today (24/04) in unlocked it successfully.
