2002 National 16” Wall Fan

I forgot how big of a powerhouse these old National 16" fans are prior to filming. It's a pleasant experience to get absolutely whacked by the airflow of old Matsushitas again after working on countless weak 16" fans.

This here is a National 16" wall fan, model F-EU409, made in January 16th 2002. I purchased this pre-owned fan from @choisafans4284 for my dad's office to replace my Arisa pedestal fan that he'd been using for about 5 years. The motor in that thing is about to raise its white flag, so I felt it's finally time to retire it & get a more reliable fan to take its job, so... National F-EU409 it is! This will follow the footsteps of my Arisa & get used until its last days, so I won't bother restoring it

When the Arisa was still in service, this room needed 2 fans for the occupants to stay comfy. It was the Arisa & the dual 5 blade 12" Turbo Comfortair desk fan. With this fan, the Turbo now sees less use as this provides much more airflow. The gearbox on this fan is a bit wonky & likes to slip between tooths at full right angle, I have ordered a replacement part but it hasn't arrived yet.

I honestly appreciate those models of Indonesian Matsushita fans. That specific body was actually released to the Philippine market for the 2011 model year of our model of Matsushita wall fans, the Panasonic F-40WYP and the KDK W40Y. Matsushita is honestly my favorite brand and I own about 11 matsushitas! It's a really good brand, shame they downgraded severely in quality here since 2015.

The Panasonic Version Is Also F-EU409 While F-EU309 Is For 12" Variant. It Is Also Related To The KDK WN40B

Really big jump from speed 2 to 3! It even has the "Solid Modern" blade model, instead of the E40KT blade model that your F-EQ403s have.

Banyak yang punya nih. Di banyak tempat ane liat ini:
1. Vihara Metta Serang: 5 unit green
2. Vihara Mandalawangi Arama Serang Barat: dulu ada banyak, semuanya unit blue version, tahun 2015 tersisa 3 unit. Sejak 2018 hanya tinggal 1 unit
3. Vihara Saddhapala Bojong indah Jakarta Barat: dulu ada 8 unit, green version semua, sekarang udah ga ada
4. Vihara Thay Hin Bio Telukbetung: ada 2 unit, semuanya blue version. Yg 1 ada di tempat pembuatan lilin. Tapi dulu sepertinya pernah ada beberapa unit lagi
