Really enjoyed this video. I have been playing with many different ingress managers as of late and you reminded me that the simple ones are sometimes just the best ones to use.

Hi from Denmark 🇩🇰
I really love your content. Especially the Kubernetes series, you make all these concepts understandable and easy to follow. Keep up the good work 💪👏and thank you.

Catching this series 2 years after the fact, but loving it nonetheless. I've been enjoying this series so much, I grabbed all 3 of your books and plan on going through your other series as well. Thank you so very much for making these, sometimes complex, topics so accessible!

Congrats Jeff. And thanks for this series. And every NginX employee I met at conferences pronounced it " Engine X"

I have it from Nginx employees that the pronunciation is "Engine-X" :)

Is it possible to have the nginx reverse-proxy run outside of the cluster in its own standalone environment? Would this be done with ingress?

Pronunciation of NGINX is the first question on their official FAQ.
Correct: "en-juhn-eks*" or "Engine-X"

Nice show! Orderd your Ansible för DevOps book and will try your Ansible 101 series next. Wating to order for the paperback Kubernets book.
I run som backup servers for friends at home, First as virtual machines, now as Docker containers. It would be nice to get these "ssh servers" to run inside my Raspberri Pi(4) Kubernetes kluster :-)

For me ingress-nginx-controller always stays pending for external ip. I'm using the oracle cloud infrastructure. (No load balancer is beiing created).

Congratulation on #4!
Will you touch on something like this but all "on premise"?
I have a stack of RPi4s and using a Synology NAS as an NFS-server. I'm only doing this to learn and I don't want to rely on any external services.

Stay safe!

How about HTTP2? Seems like all request defaults to http/1.1

Can you set one up as a firewall and a key based access controller?
