The more I’ve read about Guehi the more I think he’s the right choice for the Toon. He’s able to bring the ball out of defence under a press and we need that as we looked a bit vulnerable at time when pressed last time out. He’s got a great pass on him.

If we can get Guehi in the door then we're a right winger away from arguably having the third best starting 11 in the country. We scored 85 goals in the PL last season but only 6 of those came from right wingers Miggy and Murphy. Harvey Barnes who had injuries and rarely started ahead of Anthony Gordon had almost the same goals as Miggy and Murphy combined.

Guehi coming in, Pope back and hopefully Botman can come back ASAP can help shore up the 62 goals we conceded last season. Guehi in and a right winger and what a season we could potentially have.

Villa have Champions League and arguably look weaker than last season, Liverpool in transition, Chelsea a mess, Man Utd in transition. Just really feels like an opportunity to go for the jugular whilst the competition is vulnerable and we don't make these signings we could rue our mistake. Such a good opportunity.
