I was 13 years old standing behind Phil in the fairway on that last wedge shot. When he started to walk it out after he hit, it felt like the whole crowd in the fairway would rush the green if he made it. Will never forget that moment

Even with the occasional petulent displays of partisan commentary, and those
worse for wear boisterous bellowing inebriated spectators it didn`t detract
one jot from the sheer determination of the winner, that british guy... rose by
any other name, and the sweet smell of victory, 👍😁
