This technique is a great idea! I usually just French braid my hair before bed. I really like the idea of using a piece of silk for the front strands. I'm not quite clear on how your braiding the silk in? Are you using the silk as you would a section of hair for a French braid? Thanks for sharing 😊

Much prefer this to the other rope braid method! It actually kept my length, unlike the other one and I didn’t have to curl my ends like I would on a normal French braid although I want to try that method too. I just had to curl my front pieces as I have a middle part. The only downside was I didn’t find it that comfortable to sleep in!
