I love this dude. My Uncle worked for the globetrotters in the 70's/80's you know back in the day and I grew up on those guys really many different generations of globetrotters at this point. I think we still have all the memorabilia like the coffee mugs and ashtrays all kinds of stuff. Anyway as a hooper myself...much respect and I love what he said about basically being a good person and putting in the work for yourself and others before you do it for the recognition and limelight. 👍🏽

You gotta appreciate and respect someone not only talented but also down to earth and humble.

What a nice young man, so humbled and appreciative. The best for him. I remember some years back while working security at O'Hare airport and I ran into Curly from the Harlem Globetrotters and waved at him, and he took out his basketball to sign and going to give it to me, but his flight was called for him to board and he had to go, I was that close to getting a signed Globetrotters basketball. Darn it!!. RIP Curly

I had the honor of watching the Harlem Globetrotters once many, many years ago and they were amazing! I’d love to see them again.

I'm sure I'm repeating what others have said, but I really enjoy these type of stories. His mother noticed something about her son, asked her boyfriend to look into it and the young man gets a try out with the Harlem Globe Trotters. The he puts in the work and earns several World Records - WOW.

I love stories of young men being positive and hopefully others following in their footsteps.... I'll be 63 in July my friend I'm proud of you. Keep your head up be a leader and don't be a follower. Peace my young man

valuable lesson. talent without hard work gets you nowhere. this guy put in the work and achieved what he wanted to. talent may sometimes get you to the top, but only hard work will keep you there.
