I don't understand why many people expected any good things about this device.

I'd love to see a version of this where the Rabbit tries to answer what it does and experiences an existential crisis.

- Do not try and use the LAM—that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth.
- What truth?
- There is no LAM.

I thought, wouldn't it B cool to tell your device, rabbit, please remind me at 2:45pm I need to leave to collect my daughter, when I leave, setup my Google maps to take me there in the shortest way and when I leave please play some AC/DC on my phone. That's what I thought the Rabbit would be able to do. Seems it can hardly wake up when you ask it to. Hugely disappointed. I ordered one but ended up cancelling after the truth has been revealed.

Thanks for providing the thoughts of a futuristic device from a highschool volleyball coach. The Internet is complete and your kids are embarrassed

Category: Technological Skepticism

For $1000:
Answer: "This person said, 'There is nothing revolutionary or disruptive about any of the technologies. Touch interface, movement sensors, accelerometer, morphing, gesture recognition, 2-megapixel camera, built in MP3 player, WiFi, Bluetooth, are already available in products from leaders in the mobile industry – Motorola, Nokia and Samsung. So, what appears to be the initial pricing at $499 and $599 with a minimum 2 year service agreement seems a stretch.'"

Question: "What did Motorola's then CTO, Padmasree Warrior, say in 2007 about the iPhone?"

OK, so I pre-ordered one of these back in February. The hype videos about this being an AI assistant that automates tasks for you is a dream device for me, so I decided to pay the $199. Since that time, it has become clear that the release version of this is very limited. First of all, I have zero interest in using this to order Ubers or book travel. Second, I have a different take on the oft-repeated criticism "Your phone already does most of this." I actually would like to rely LESS on my phone for things like checking the weather, checking sports scores, and looking up things on the internet. Most importantly, I get a lot of golf instruction YouTube videos sent to my phone every day. Watching these videos on my phone drains my battery and sucks up huge amounts of my phone's monthly data allotment. So, the simple (4-part) question I have is - can the Rabbit R1 replace my phone for checking the weather, checking sports scores, looking up things on the internet and watching YouTube videos? I am hoping that the answer is "yes" to all 4 of these, as the Rabbit R1 will become very useful for me.
