The car modders here in the uk used to use black tights or I think you call them pantyhoes in America. Remove tail light stretch tights fully over light by putting it inside, pull it tight and tie a knot at the back. Replace the light with the knot and all, looked pretty good and barely affected the level of light produced.

at least you can still see the red in the lens...light smoke isn't terrible...it's the cars on which you can't see any red lens; that's too dark

Tinting windows I support, but what's the purpose of tinting lights? They're supposed to help you and others on the road.

You should not be tinting the tail light. This is by far one of the dumbest thing I have seen today. Totally illegal
