I always wanted to compare Zara's clothes to Aritzia's clothes! The reason for this video is to show you guys two large retailers and what makes their clothing/prices so different. I always recommend everyone to try thrifting first (Depop, local thrift stores, eBay, Poshmark, etc) & look online/in-store as your last option!

THOUGHTS ON FAST-FASHION.
There definitely are a lot of controversies that surround fast-fashion. Exactly where the clothes we're purchasing are really manufactured? The process is environmentally damaging and resource-intensive. Especially, in our era of social media/tech, everyone feels pressured to wear a different outfit every single time they go out. Fast-fashion is a simple solution to appease our desires to fit in with the normal. I always suggest you look for brands that produce apparel in sustainable ways and have corporate transparency first before going straight to fast-fashion brands.

I know you probably read that ^ and started thinking "Marz, this defeats the purpose of this video...". YES, that is so true, but I wanted to leave that snippet of information ^ for you guys to read. Also, let's all try to have a sustainable mindset at the forefront of our minds, next time we go shopping!
