Calm down guys, of course indicating is important but when you’re learning you should prioritise what’s most important and what’s most important when steering a car round a roundabout? Steering the car lol I’m sure some people can do it all at once straight away but others need more time to focus on each thing before bringing it all together. When I first started roundabouts I almost crashed because I was worried so much about indicating I forgot to steer 😂 luckily my instructor grabbed the wheel! It all worked out in the end, I passed first time 😊

As an experienced truck driver I can say that mostly we check how people in cars steer more than how they indicate, but if all people did indicate it would save a lot of time and fuel in the traffic. And I mean a lot!

My advice to this video is that a good instructor is client centred. I quit two driving instructors because they were like this. Granted it was solely a problem with my learning style and not them. However, the instructors would not change their style. The lessons were just 1-2 hours of a verbal cannons and an overload of information. Whilst they were calm, the constant dribble would tense me up and overwhelm me. I didn’t feel in control at any point.

I didn’t think I had what it took to drive. It was only when my latest instructor recognised I needed calm, drip fed information and client centred coaching.

I passed my theory and test first time. I’m now a very confident and competent driver.

she meant the indicator wasnt important AT THAT MOMENT BECAUSE SHE IS LEARNING AND NEEDS TO FOCUS ON THE DIFFICULT TURN. people are slow minded

Pilots are taught a Baseline to recall when disoriented. There's like 3 principles you should communicate to the person so they can airways default back to critical functions to maintain control.

I appreciate the discipline of the drivers in giving way to pedestrians at a zebra crossing. Especially at that terrible spot since you just exited a roundabout. You guys have some of the most patient and well-behaved drivers.

Indicators are very important at roundabouts, although in this instance it was not quite as essential as not running over pedestrians, or driving in-between 2 lanes.
