HOPE RISES WITH KARIBA LEVELS

Lake Kariba’s water levels are finally rising, bringing much-needed hope to Zambians enduring prolonged load-shedding. As of January 6, 2025, the Zambezi River Authority reported the lake’s level had reached 475.87 meters, an improvement from 475.77 meters recorded at the start of the year. Although this translates to just 2.61% usable storage.
