I have this and as someone who goes to the gym i don’t find it heavy at all it slim and adds a keyboard and protective case. Loved the back lit keys many times at night I’m doing my homework and it comes in handy

Best keyboard/case, period, for the iPad Pro. It is bulky, but when I look at what I would lose if I moved over to the Apple Smart Keyboard, I'd lose backlight and media controls. Volume and brightness is invaluable. I'm surprised Apple didn't get to this first. I give the case a 8/10, there's always room for improvement, but I really feel like they hit it out of the park. I've been using it since November, so I've earned my opinion.

I’ve had my iPad pro now for two years and it is wonderful. The whole time I’ve had my iPad I have used this keyboard, and it works great. So a simple review for your own wear and tear knowledge: I now have a light line marking on the glass screen (nothing major, it just came from the wrist rest and magnetized strip area) as well as slight bending in the iPad itself on the charging port side due to my sole use of the iPad while in the keyboard position. Otherwise, light markings on the keyboard, but everything still works properly and I use my iPad instead of a laptop - while not feasible for everyone it works well for me.

Jeff, great review and very thorough. I have this case and agree that it's really great. Only downside is that it adds weight and also is not so good when not typing, just browsing.

This is a great review, but, can you tell me - is this the same as it was when first released? Does this still scratch the screen like so many thousands of people have reported or have Logitech done something to change it?

Very thoughtful review. It is like wrapping a Ferrari in bubble wrap. My work around is to NOT snap it in. The apple Smart Cover (disconnected and folded behind) will create the same viewing angle and allow the connection to the Smart Cover. Then the keyboard becomes something you can leave in your bag until you need it. It takes away from the instant access, but, well, I don't want my Ferrari in Bubble Wrap. But man, in terms of jamming on a keyboard, this thing is great. Below I mentioned that I wasn't sure how this approach would work on a lap, but I just typed all of this in that mode and it didn't disconnect once.

I totally love this case I've had it for 3 years. The only thing is that it looks like the magnet has worn out and the keyboard now slides off the the lock in place. I don't care -= I will just order another one because I just love the feel and it's great for typing. Doesn't feel flimsy. I have never experienced any markings or any other issues. And yes, surprised Apple has not copied this.

I just ordered a red one today. I'm excited to get mine. I choose this one because it comes in red and the gold keyboard section matches my gold iPad Pro. Plus you get back lit keys and it's less than the apple smart keyboard. Not to mention you can order it or pick it up in the store, with my corporate discount with the Apple Store I got this keyboard case for only $143 with tax. Saved me $30 versus Apple's own keyboard.

everything this video said is 100% dead on.  I bought this keyboard for my ipad pro and it is just as good as typing on a laptop.  Very comfortable in your lap but on the heavy side when carrying your ipad in it but for its performance it is well worth it.  if you need a keyboard for the ipad pro, get this one

iDB, there is one thing I wanted to say about this case. When I purchased my iPad, this was the very first case I purchased. I was extremely satisfied! After a long period of using this case, I noticed there was a visible line running across my screen. I noticed that the bottom bump of the keyboard is constantly touching the iPad screen when closed. I guess, after closing and opening the case so much, it rubs against the screen and actually damages the screen. It's a little weird to explain. I'm not sure if this is something that you noticed with your iPad.

Hi, I have this Logitech KB, and I think it's the best option for typing on the big Pro... but I don't type all the time. Can anyone recommend a technique for easilly removing the iPad that doesn't feel like it'll get damaged in the process? In fact, a video tutorial on how to remove the Pro from the Logitech case would be a great subject! TIA!

My apologies as to how this might sound... I loved the review with one exception. The review of the cover and the keyboard was great, but I would have loved to have heard how this cover would allow one to be able to use the iPP as a tablet with the  Pencil to take notes or work with .PDF files. That being said, I do want to thank you for excellent coverage on the case and the keyboard!
