My encoder is identical to your it outputs 3 streams for if you want to stream to 3 websites. on main stream the max resolution is 1280x720. on sub stream it drop a bit to 704x576 and drops further with mobile stream to 720x576 .

I bought one of these to do live on youtube, but the audio was horrible and the video was only good at 30fps. I tested live on facebook, only the audio cut off a few times, and it works again after a few seconds. Poor configuration option firmware.

2:20, ... imma stops you right there. It's a CANON camcorder, and there is NO guarantee that the HDMI is outputting 1080p, EVEN WHEN SET TO IN MENUS. I've had to deal with this on multiple encoders, and it's a Canon thing, not! an encoder thing.
Canon camcorders will default to the highest Progressive output they do, being 480p or 576p (NTSC/PAL) instead of the highest Interlaced resolution of 1080i that those models do.
Plug in a Sony, Panasonic or JVC and you are far more likely to get 1080 out of the camera, especially on the JVC's.

I have the same encoder. How to I get obs to see it? Or how do I get to start the stream? Also, when I set up the encoder there is no live view due to no flash player support anymore. How do you go around that?

Have you checked the settings in further detail, because you can change the resolution. However, the problem will not be the resolution you do select as more the limited bandwidth of your network, particularly when the sending or receiving device uses WiFi.

Next time it's recommended to check more carefully the device options and inform about the technical fundaments before you film mess like that. It's really not helpful.
