Relationship Goals: Train Up a Child (Part 2)

We're continuing last week’s topic on how to “Train Up a Child.” This time, we’re focusing on the parent’s role and how we can raise our children in a way that honors God and prepares them for life.

Ephesians 6:4 says, “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” God calls us to build up our children with patience, love, and consistency, shaping them not just by words, but by the example we set.

We need to create a loving environment where our children feel secure in God’s truth and grace. Our example as parents becomes their first understanding of who God is, so there’s a great purpose in every small lesson and word of encouragement.
