One of the best things about Kiss was they were ALIVE (reference intended) and that's why it was so exiting.

I feel nothing or these lifeless animations that don't comprehend how emotions work and stare at you with dead eyes.

Been a lifelong KISS fan, even though I have only been a member of the KISS Army since 2007.. I was born 1997. Well after they ruled the rock world in the 70s, but there has always been something irreplaceable and magical about KISS. I know people will talk shit about Paul and Gene for "milking" this as a way for them to make money in retirement, but let's face it, they have made more than enough money to retire happily period since they merchandise literally everything. They are doing this as a way for KISS to live on, and I condone and respect it. My dad introduced me to their music when I was a boy growing up in the 2000's. He grew up seeing their rise in the 70s. He showed me the magic of this band. In 2010, I got to see them as my first rock show. Still the best couple of hours of my life. One day, I hope to share this same experience and music with my children in a new light. This is my ticket to do so. What people don't realize is that this is what will happen to most rock bands in the future. Avatars after the originals are long gone. And as a fan of classic rock in general, I support this. Still better than most of the fake bullshit that is popular and trendy today.

Songs like Let Me Know, Love Her All I Can, Young and Wasted, Turn On The Night, Take It Off, Take Me Down Below. Just to name a few across the 50 years!
