this idea has been spoken about over and over for hundreds of years. all patterns and feelings originate in the subconscious mind, and you replace negative patterns with positive patterns through repetition of new thought with action. a fantastic book that explains how to do this is epxlained in detail is The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy. It changed my life for the better.
