Is this our Rarest Discovery of 2021!?!? (AND NO, It's NOT the Megalodon Tooth)

We were diving in Venice Florida for ancient Megalodon teeth when we made a very unexpected discovery. I have been fossil hunting in Florida since I could hold a shovel and I can honestly say this is one of the rarest things we have ever discovered... I was born in Largo, but my father worked for GTE, we moved to Venice Florida in 1967. I have found thousands of sharks teeth over the years, but those are some really nice ones. I didn't dive when I was younger or I might have been able to find more further out. We also found a lot of teeth in ancient shoreline deposits far inland as well. Everytime a dump truck dumped gravel for driveway somewhere we would stop and find some nice teeth. I wish more young people put their phones down and got out to find history like this...it would open their eyes.

Those associated Dire Wolf teeth were so awesome! I'm pretty sure Chris and Kyle found some associated Dire Wolf teeth last year, from two separate dives. It is incredible when something like that happens. So...for the drawing, I think my favorite shirt is the Retro Meg but they are all way cool! Last but not least, I hope your cool Kat is doing well and enjoying the start to Summer break.🙂

I love what you do! Several years ago, I broke my back and my mobility is limited. It breaks my heart because I love being out in nature. Thanks to you, I get to explore places and things I would never get to experience. I guess you could say I'm living vicariously through you. I appreciate your videos and you taking us along on your journey.
I am having a hard time picking just one design but my number one would be the "I'd Rather Be Fossil Hunting" hooded blanket. I chose it because I know I would use it every single day. I also love the Moonlight Megalodon Shirt, but I wouldn't get as much use out of it as I would the blanket.

Dove w Capt Mike on Sunday (Aug 1st) super cool guy, had my young son w me, we did not find any megs but lots of Dugong and whale bones. Capt was cool enough to give my kid a Meg he found the other day, kid was stoked about it. Planning another dive w him as soon as work and kids school schedule will allow. We had large waves and poor vis, wish we had smooth water like in your video
