Hey Bill, a genetics testing department, can refuse to test if you can't give them proof, such as the blood work test from a close family member. Found out last year. Even though I told them which type number it was. (Now if my father would just find his test results)
Also, they say, if you're positive, it can affect your health coverage, and also your life insurance too. Does it really?
