This technique in aviation is known as crabbing, where you have to fly the aircraft with wing into the wind and rudder support, once after the main bogeys touch down, you can use the rudder to align the nose gear with the centre line ( P.S I'm a pilot in training)

Understood. The plane made an angle of 120 degrees with cross wind thus making the resultant vector at 90 degrees .
Thus resulting in normal landing.
