In my opinion, this is a method for people who really know about the game (and i doubt it, because ghost has 150% movespeed), and when i said people who know i mean people who knows about times, speed hunt, blink patrons, and some basic about the most obvious types of ghost, like Obake shapeshifting, or Phantom blinkin most invisible, or Oni is the more Visible, and Wraith hate salt, and Mimic leaves orbs even with 0 evidence. And that's my knowledge so far about the ghosts, i can't use this method because i dont know how to catch any other ghost, demon, banshee, goryo, onryo, etc etc, this is a method for the most obvious ghost like i said before, is usefull but if you are just prestige 0 like me and lv 80+ you are just gonna roll a guess, and that's not worth your time. you are going to spend money on smudgesticks and salt, i try 10 matches, only got 2 wins and 8 loss

Except for going behind the tent, this is just game knowledge. Takes too long to level up otherwise. If you’re much more competent and can recognize the ghosts based off hunting traits, you can do a single hunt and leave and if it’s a mimic, rev, moroi, thaye, phantom, oni, raiju, yokai, twins, deogen, wraith, poltergeist, obake, or a myling. You can bring in all the salt piles and a crucifix so it doesn’t start on you /photos, then grab the bone after the first hunt if you know what it is. Rinse repeat, easy to do on 13x.

Question! Since I’m newer, why does these specific Ghost Orbs automatically mean mimic? I thought there’s a handful of ghosts that have it as evidence as well?

You can do the same at Maple Lodge Campsite in the kids tents to the left of the entrance.

Since it’s a bigger map you get 150 for getting the ghost and the investigation bonus.

I like it a little more because even if you get hunted right at the entrance you have the table and pole that you can kite the ghost easily.

But there’s also the challenge of having the ghost spawn farther back. So there are some cons, but I don’t think they outweigh the pros.

I always bring in both cams and a smudge for phantom and mimic. Leave the gen off for one haunt for hantu test

That is also my method, 75% sanity cause theres no way you will get to the far tent with zero sanity, plus speed is not this slow though thats up to you, then hiding spot should be set to high and thats it everything is just common sense on xp farming. You done great job here bro. Keep it up😊❤

I’ve searched for an explanation but could find one so here’s my dumb question: How can you tell it’s a mimic just by seeing orbs on cam right away?

I’ve been burned by them many times in evidence runs so seeing you being able to guess mimic JUST by orbs makes me kick myself lol
