I always wondered why don’t the commentators ever mention how he moves up and down during his Cue action. We know Selby moves from side to side like an airplane landing 😂, but I’m sorry even McManus hasn’t caught on it yet in commentary. I love how Ronnie’s cue lifts off his bridge hand and keeps circling in the air after the follow through, no one ever mentions that either. Really good Video.

I think you captured Ronnie's technique quite accurately. It's like a circular motion. The elbow drop and aiming seems spot on to me. You mentioned bending the cue, and this I haven't heard anyone else mention and I've noticed it too. Both Ronnie and Judd force the cue down very hard into their bridge hand making the cue visibly bend and flex under the pressure. It would be interesting to see a video about this. I've used the technique and found it helps with stability and possible misscues when doing a deep screw back. Really like to hear your thoughts

Thanks Coach for this great vidéo. I am Still trying to acquire this cue action but i found that the ronnie finger are tall that helps him to have good grip pressure at the end and the thumb looks pointing to the flour and the fourth finger looks touching cue at the end.

So dropping head on the backswing? And please explain what is meant when Ronnie says he plays the shot with his elbow?

Hi Vilius, you talked about bending the cue at 7:00, that I found no coach talks about it(or they don't know about it?).
If I want to learn about this technique, what should I do? what should I know?
Would you make a video on this?
I make 50+ about once in ten frames.

Sir, It Would Be Great If You Make Slow Motion Vedios By Setting The Camera By An Angle Where We Can See The Aiming Of Cue Ball.

Something fishy overthere, ronnie actually use much shorter bridge distance from his cue ball, when he deliver a cue action, its verymuch like a reverse T swinging to a front and back, he is basicly raise his back arm much higher, and when he deliver his back elbow force to drop forward all the way to his chest.. if you notice after he hitting a white ball his front cue would lift a little.. meaning that he only using 12inc of his front cue benefit with a perfect distance timing..

If you remember ronnie once said in his coaching sesion “its all about timing”..
if you aware he lift up his fron cue even when he does draw back, he also lift it when he does stun shot, and so how he does follow shot

Im also saw jimmy white does the same technique, only ronnice are much more consistence using that technique.. his stance basicly much more like steve, only the way his delivery a cue very much like young jimmy white..

This tells me almost nothing about Ronnie's cue action.
