i genuinely cannot thank hiroyuki sawano enough for this. he has no idea how much his music means to me. i cannot put down how I feel about this piece in words. it'll not do it justice. but this piece kept me going. it keeps me going.

This isn’t a new vibe, this is a whole new dimension. AOT is like an intense memory now

Well this is a bizarre mix of emotions.
Feel like this sums up the nostalgia of the series. Looking back it's like... "Fuck, all of this happened. And it's over."

This song alone makes it’s scene one of the saddest in the show. The nostalgic flashbacks to Hannes, and the good life that they had, mixed with the nostalgic childlike innocence of the song, is all just heartbreaking.

Imagine child eren in the sky arms out screaming “THIS IS FREEDOM”. I always viewed that moment as adult eren allowing his child self to enjoy the euphoria of finally being free while is adult self bears the weight of his actions.

Should actually be in the show, maybe when Eren and Armin have their final conversation.

Each day Shingeki no Kyokin looks most like a distant memory.... A far time of my life.
Strange to think that some months ago I was crying over this beautiful masterpiece; Relating to the characters; Creating theories and waiting for new chapters.
I don't care about how it ended or what people think about this anime. Attack on Titan was probably what maintained my sanity during the pandemic; it really helped me go through stuff... It made my imagination and creativity live rent-free after a long time.
I enjoyed so much this all. I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to feel the things I felt while accompanying aot.

“Is it wrong not to be special? I don’t think that way. When it comes to my child... it’s fine if he’s never great . He doesn’t have to be better than anyone. After all, just look at him. He’s so cute! He’s already special. Because he was ... born into this world.”❤️😢

I love how Sawano was capable to interpret Call Your Name in so many different versions.

These comments are incredible. I kinda wanna thank everyone for sharing in the emotional journey this video conjured and the emotional journey of the series in general. Aot is truely life changing.

the fact that the singers voice is deeper and sounds older reminds me that everyone who watched aot back in the day is pretty much if not completely grown up

damn, i was barely 13 when I started watching SNK with my older cousins and now im 18 and it feels insane looking back and realizing that i grew up with these characters.
and just like them, i became someone i never thought i would be.

Isn’t weird how some movies or tv show like aot and harry potter have this nostalgic air about them as if you were there or as if it’s a distante forgotten memory, fascinating
