I remember back in the day when doing our hair was such a chore and we felt so awful about it. This makes me feel so giddy inside 🥰 Growing up I never knew how to do my natural hair because my mom just sent me to the salon for a relaxer or to braiders who didn’t care about my hair and just ripped it out and braided to tight. And because of that I HATED my hair. It wasn’t until senior year of college I discovered how my natural hair looked like without perms. If I ever have a daughter, I’m teaching her how to do her own hair and how to love/appreciate it.

Happy New Year🥳This is Awesome..🙌🏽 The women in my family alternated between natural & permed hair. 💆🏽‍♀Im actually learning more about the leave in conditioning process from my daughter.👩🏻 She alternates now, w the silk press method. Mine is no heat.. I used to be able to master that electric hot comb. Proper product use is especially important! 👍🏾This type of bond is so Sacred..
