I was assuming he meant it was specifically a brass brush and not the generic “metal” brush. The brass brush is softer and will not damage the blades, but the (non-specific) “metal brush” can damage your blade.

$100 for a plastic bucket that doesn't even seal? I don't think so. A Home Depot "Homer Bucket" lid works. Neither are a good place to store the cleaner, so...

Just some spray cleaner and a plastic or brass brush does a good job. 409 or any good degreaser/cleaner works

Scam... and if it's not, it's stupid. Your saw blade stays clean by using the saw blade. If you don't use it for a year or 2 and it gets some surface rust, just run some rips on old stock. Ultimately, if the blade goes unused so long that it's "dirty", you don't care and you're not a finished carpenter, hence it doesn't matter

Just soak the blade in the strongest acid known to man then when the blade has disappeared you just go and buy another.
