Cellaring Wines: Tahbilk 1860 Vines Shiraz 2016

This week we're featuring Cellaring Wines, so our articles and videos across The Real Review will be focusing on this topic. The wine I'm about to taste is Tahbilk 1860 Vines Shiraz 2016. This is one of the great historic wineries and vineyards of Australia, and one of the curio wines. Really, this is a blast from the past, a connection of great history, this wine. Vines planted in 1860, are now over 160 years old - that's incredibly old for a grapevine. They're certainly some of the oldest vines in the world, still on their own roots. An incredible thing.
