Hey guys - I'm getting quite a bit of people asking me why I excluded Sonic Forces from the footage. This is NOT out of any negative intent towards that game nor is it in spite. The Sonic games' footage were placed chronologically leading up to Sonic Mania. Sonic Forces released after Sonic Mania, so I decided to exclude it and end it there! :)

Not to mention, this song's production started about five months ago, before the release of Sonic Forces! Hope that clears up some confusion!

Nearly six years after first hearing this song as young teenager, it still baffles me how beautifully crafted this song is. Even now as an adult, it has remained a highlight in my playlist. Incredible.

This song represents the soul and joy of a true Sonic fan who has been there since the very beginning. The Sonic fan base is more than people think. And this song along with Sonic Mania shows us that Sonic has a bright future. Though I’m only 13, I have been playing Sonic for as long as what I can consider my childhood, and I know that for people who were kids in the 90’s will know what I’m talking about at an even greater level. So let us not forget that Sonic will be staying around for a long, long time.

I have no words to describe this. I’m seriously in tears, this is absolutely heavenly. A lot of people love to point out the bad side of the Sonic fandom, but fail to recognize the amazing people like you guys who make beautiful work. As a kid, I got bullied pretty much almost every day at school, and on my 8th birthday, my best friend was sick, my mom and her sister had a huge fight, and I got my ass handed to me at school, i didn't even blow out the candles on my cake, I just ran to my room sobbing. My dad walked in with the PS2 and a gift, gave me a hug, and after he set it up, I opened the gift, it was a copy of Sonic Mega Collection +, I spent hours playing it that night... since then, Sonic has always had a special place in my heart. then I remember on the day Sonic mania, it was my second day of senior year in High school, I downloaded the game as i got ready on my switch, and once there, I sat down before class began, and played it... I began to cry because of how beautiful it was. Sonic Mania Plus re ignited my love for sonic, and this song perfectly expresses my love for the blue blur, kudos for such an amazing piece, and may sonic keep on running for another 30 + years.
