some quick math for those interested:

The average salary of tenured, non-top star wwe worker in the mid 2010s was anywhere from 150-200k per year(not counting outside pay from merch, gates, PPVs, etc that are all contract by contract.)

While Cody may be hyperbolizing a little, we will never know, but if he was making an average of $175, 000 in 2015/2016, and got a 15x increase, that would about 2.625 million per year.

This lines up with the averages of pay nowadays for top stars in AEW and WWE.

Damn Cody might be trolling TK by saying 15x more then what WWE was paying him before but if anyone recalls Cody saying he could had stayed in WWE before he had left because the money was great then but he want more out of his career so either he is BS because TK didn’t pay him what Cody thought was fair or Vince really did pay him fair enough to comeback! Shish Cody did also get a bus out of it!
