The Sad Truth About Work...

Nobody wants to hear the truth, but most people should. You are born and programmed to live the live of a modern wage slave worker. Personally I've reached a point in my life where work has broken my spirit. Wage slavery is real. So its a question of acceptance. Will you accept your fate, or build your escape from the corporate work by building financial freedom? Its a choice, and I have made mine.

When you have no job you have all the time and no money

When you have a job you have all the money and no time

But most people these days have a Job and have no time or money

Its soul crushing

Slavery never ended. The Masters just reinvented themselves.

When you're on your death bed. No one ever says, ''I wish I could have worked more.''🤔

Wage slavery is carefully designed to steal our youth. Our most important years while we’re healthy and have energy. Those are the years where we dream to be off doing more, experiencing more and seeing more but get trapped.

Then, they release us of our invisible shackles at 60-70 years old (retirement) when we are no longer of use to them but now we are too old to do and enjoy things the same way we could have when we were younger.

Escaping or avoiding the trap as young as possible is the key. 🔑

A guy I worked with recently died from cancer at age 59. On the upside, he doesn't need to go to work any more. On the down side, He literally worked until he died. I think the job killed him.

The key issue is: we don't have control over the value of money, and we don't really own our land.

I'm a 50 year old truck driver and am working 65 plus hours a week until Sept 2025 when everything, including our house, is paid off.
I won't be giving work a notice, I'm just not gonna show up after that date, and i'm going to find a minimum wage, lower stress type job until my life on earth is finally finished.
I'm hoping my life will be different when I'm no longer a slave for a dead entity called a corporation.
The worst part of my workday is talking to coworkers who just love their job and wish they could work many more hours. Makes me sick!

I stopped working to enrich people who would throw me into the garbage as soon as I stopped being exploitable. Haven't worked for wages in over 20 years. Would rather die.

In college, I wrote a paper on the origins of the American " educational" system. It's design to produce worker bees.

8:58 You are not depressed! This is society’s fault! 8:58-9:23 exactly!!!! 😡 that’s how I feel I’m tired of wasting my life making other people rich!

I felt this video all the way through to the pit of my soul. I’ve tried to convey this idea to the world and they just see me as lazy. I’m 43 and I know time is slipping away. I make a quarter of a million a year yet I feel like a slave, knowing that for 5 days a week I’m told what I can and cannot do. I will never brings kids into this world knowing that it’ll be just another trap leading me to work until I die.

Wage slavery is one of the things that has made me lean toward antinatalism. I never liked the idea that most of my time was spent doing a job that I merely tolerated, while things I liked doing (like spending time in nature) could only be done fleetingly. I don't see the point of forcing a new being into this kind of existence.
I've been wondering if it was a mistake for humanity to move away from the hunter-gatherer lifestyle.

i was in almost same circumstances as you exactly one year ago… june 9, 2023. i quit my job of 24 years and took a chance. i had nothing lined up except some savings. im not rich, im divorced, had child support to pay and 2 small kids. it was scary but i did it. i was 50 years old. let me tell you, i figured it out. good things keep happening. the money somehow kept comin in from odd jobs & delivery. ive never been happier. the sense of freedom is amazing. i will NEVER go back to wage slavery & will never work for anyone again.

sorry about your dad. lost mine ain 2014. im a Catholic. i pray for him, but he led a saintly life and have little doubt that hes in Heaven, not purgatory.

take a chance! you only live once! God bless!

This video came out at perfect time. Today is the last day of my 1 week vacation.. today is also my wife’s last day before she starts her new job. (Which she’s not looking forward to), and the cherry on top is tomorrow is our 10 year anniversary and we both have to work through it… Fantastic.

I've seen through this when i was in school and it got me depressed and isolated. And then i realized more viscerally it's full extent when i had to start paying for my own bills/rent. I'm in my 20's, i've been imagining ways to get out of it for a fairly long time but i don't see any foolproof solution.

Whatever i do, the chances are it will fail. I would throw everything away for freedom. Instead my soul was sentenced to death the moment i was born, so the rich could thrive and make the most important decisions regarding our future. I'm already sick of all of this, how the fuck can i go on for 40 more years?

I have come to realize that the more "aware" you are about the ways of modern life, the more likely you are to feel your soul crushed/depressed, etc.

Technically we are free to pursue anything, but at the same time we are all wearing invisible shackles named responsibilities. The older you get the heavier they become. You can temporarily forget about them either through some form of distraction/entertainment or during sleep. They are always there though, wrapped around you 100% of the time.

When you do get rid of them, it's usually too late to matter.
