From all the showcases from different cc's it looks like they honestly killed this game mode completely. It will go back to how hydra was when it first released where it was super hard and dead content. With these new changes if you push damage you get punished and if you use a stable damage team you also get punished. Might legit be the worst update Raid has ever put out.

Considering changes in Hydra, here are a few suggestions for a little leverage:
Make "Almighty Mischief [Passive]" so that it can not redirect while "eating" a champion and that it can not redirect to decapitated head ever.
Also, make it so that Head of Suffering does not get extra turn while "eating" a champion (basically, remove 1-turn digest).

Hydra is like my main reason why I'm still playing as f2p since it's the content that actually shows your progress... depending on my experience with the changes, will determine if I actually want to play the game, it just looks so miserable and I don't really see why would I continue playing when I'm back to like 1 year ago in terms of my damage progress, cuz I know both my Hard and Brutal will struggle a lot.

Mid game players will struggle too because getting devoured is way harder to free champions. It’s not just about popping heads.

Killed my motivation to play the game. I struggled but could 1 key brutal BARELY after a few tries.

I said this on Tyraku's dmg test vid. All the changes, other than shield cap, was literally just to "nerf" Trunda teams! And now a player like me that (2wks ago) struggled to reach 170mil on Brutal will now only get 40% of that dmg due to this 60% dmg decrease! I just really dont think ill be able to do Hydra anymore!

They lied when they said your champs would target decapitated Hydra heads on auto. They still don't prioritise them over the other heads.

Funny how in Plarium's Q&A they put out the other day they said it would be extremely rare to see all 4 heads immune to damage at the same time. Happens to Hades less than 10 mins into his first attempt.

I assumed the point was that if a head currently has the block damage buff up while another head respawns, it wouldn't receive the buff - not that they literally had to be respawned at the same time!

@Hell Hades I've seen other CC's doing the math and testing and the average appears to be a 60% damage nerf to any team that hasn't bin reworked to account for the changes

just to add with the decapitated heads they have 2x the health of the normal heads (according to the patch notes [i think]) so max HP ppl do more dmg so teams that didnt over nuke the destroyed heads wont see as big a difference since a lot of it will be made up with the 2x dmg on the downed heads (thats how it worked for my team doing actually on my upper end of dmg after the hydra buff)

I don't usually like to promote other CC's, but this guy, Tyrauku: RAID Shadow Legends, had a great idea for changing Hydra..!
(he talked about adapting point outcomes, which I was not a fan of, and you don't have to nerf or buff anything)

They want the people to take longer to get the chest rewards. So these changes are to slow down and mitigate the immediate reward every week. As put to now it's every couple weeks

They’ve made too many chances for heads to not take any damage. If the heads happen to get poison cloud up and the new spawn head buff, we have to sit around taking turns waiting for our chance to do damage again. Aaand they took 500 turns away

I love this new update. Now we fight equally and see who can manage to work with his brain towards his teams. LOVELY!
