Ooh Neat King Bee gang! One thing that helps a lot with the sound is actually to remove the pop filter (the Honeycomb) and then to just use a different pop filter instead. Not only is it better with plosives but it helps with the sound. Placing a round piece of plastic on top of a microphone gives it a boxy, unpleasant tone. But removing it really makes that mic sound much more pleasant and full.

Not gonna lie I miss the Bee 🐝 Aesthetic that the first versions had on the actual microphone, they just stood out in the studio always a “what’s that over there” conversation waiting to happen 🎚️
