Narcotic Thrust is an electronica/house music duo from the UK consisting of producers Stuart Crichton and Andy Morris. The name Narcotic Thrust is an anagram of "Stuart Crichton".
Their song "Safe From Harm" hit #1 on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart in 2002.
In mid-2004 Narcotic Thrust saw even greater success when their single "I Like It" broke into the Billboard Hot 100 at #83 and reached #9 in the UK Singles Chart.
The band's third single in 2005, called "When The Dawn Breaks" and in 2006, Narcotic Thrust released their fourth single, "Waiting For You".
Narcotic Thrust have also made remixes of "The Sound of Violence" by Cassius, "Red Blooded Woman" by Kylie Minogue and "Suffer Well" by Depeche Mode.

This take me back to 2002 as a dj spinning this tune . I used to spin the Peter rauhofer mix r.I.p Peter . Oh th early 2000s best dance and house music .

Actually the song it's about someone who take to much drugs and loose his/her mind (like G) during a party, and someone have to do it right and keep him/her safe from harm.

Twenty years ago this was the biggest sensation in gay clubs. It was a favorite song for many DJs because it transitions so smoothly. And the suggestive name of the group, Narcotic Thrust, didn't hurt either (it was aimed at the gay club goers, more specifically the gay circuit party crowd, so you can imagine). Everyone always went wild the moment they recognized it. And the best and most dramatic remix of the various remixes produced for this song was perhaps Peter Rauhofer's (RIP) which is elsewhere on this site.
