I'm from Fort Wayne, Indiana and we had a huge Abraham Lincoln museum downtown. It closed when I was a teenager, so disappointing. I bet many of the artifacts went to the place John is sitting in this video.

I may be wrong, but I always thought that the book "Robinson Crusoe, " was pronounced "kru-so" instead of "Robinson Caruso." Just little nitpicky things that I found myself wondering about later. Super cool episode though, Mental Floss team! Thanks for all of the hard work you do, and your video style has influenced how I want to teach marine biology to younger populations in the future. :)

Last weekend I went to the presidential museum in Springfield. Less of his stuff but holy cow did it tell a great story of his life and presidency.

My distant relative had a quilt made of the black bunting used to cloak the Indiana state house when Lincoln's body passed through, it's the only black bunting left from his funeral.
